Dr. Laporte is wonderful for the whole family.
This practice sucks. I've been going here for years with no clear cut answer as to what the hell is wrong with me, and am frequently misdiagnosed. I believe the only one worth seeing is Dr. Tuttle. Stop trying to push so many drugs when you have no idea what the diagnosis is in the first place. Time for new doctors in this joint. Go elsewhere.
They have always had very poor people skills. The doctors take months to diagnose and are horrible at sending out referrals for second opinions. The nurses aren't the kindest when dealing with children. I would never recommend This local pediatrics to anyone. I have had many friends and family members who displeased with this practice. Definitely this practice deals with a lot of people and people with special needs. I would not send anyone here.
My whole family has been using M.F.P. for near 20 years. I think the doctors are wonderful. If I have a sick child on a weekend or in the middle of the night the on call Dr. calls me and has even met me at their office on their closed time. I think all of the Doctors and P.A.'s are great. This clinic is better than my regular doctor and I will only go here now.
It would be nice if the on call doctors were listed. i had a mess up with a pharmacy refilling a prescription that was not supposed to be refilled there anymore because it was transferred to a different pharmacy and that pharmacy closes at 7 so i couldn't pick up the medicine i need to take every night or i cant function well and the doctor on call cant do anything for me because its not my doctor and he doesnt have my file so he cant or wont call in just enough for tonight and neither can the new pharmacy because it was alr... read more
Very thorough, takes the time to know the patient. Also made several excellent referals to other doctors. Front office staff professional and courteous.
Dr. Candra Smith-Slatas is a wonderful doctor. She always sits on the table like a kid and she relates to you on every level. The staff are so nice as well. They are always going above and beyond to help you with your needs. I would recommend this office to anyone.
