Great Service Above and Beyond – I got the best tech service I have ever gotten at Progressive Tech. I had to come in from Vashon so I paid for expressive service and it was worth every penny. They turned my old hard drive into an external hard drive for less than a third of what I thought it would cost. Total cost, including diagnosis, less than $160! I would recommend Chris and his team to any MAC user that has a 'problem child.' I will recommend them to every MAC user I know! Thanks guys, you went over and above, above an... read more

They try hard to please – I'll definitely try them again. What began as a very challenging experience (a couple of confusing conversations and what looked like a three week delay in making repairs) turned out just fine because the owners cared enough to get involved quickly and make it right . That's customer service you can really respect. Or as one of the owners said, we think its important to turn "lemons into lemonade." What could have been a very unsatisfying experience became a textbook example of great customer care a... read more

Won't go anywhere else – About a month ago, my Dell laptop gave me the ultimate blue screen of death. I am totally clueless when it comes to computers so I knew I had to take it somewhere before I got too frustrated and threw it out the window or something. I remembered seeing the sign for Progressive Tech on my daily drive down Roosevelt from work so that was the first place I thought of for repairing my sick laptop. Well, let me tell you, I will not take my computer anywhere else now. I was told the day I took it in that I... read more

high prices but no fix- other repair shops were better – After spending close to $90 for just rapid diagnosis on a PC laptop that was shutting off for over-heating, they didn't bother opening the PC to look at the fan, but didn't bother to even call till over 24 hours later to say their diagnostics showed 'no problem'. So they blew dust out w/o opening the case up. We had talked ad nausem about the fan, the glue and bearings that held it in. They told me it was dusty but hadn't bothered to open the laptop (oh- that's not par... read more

Saved My Data! – My back up drive crashed due to a bad casing. I guess this is common. The manufacturer could not help me. I contacted Progressive Tech after hearing their ads on AM1090. I brought it in for the $49 inspect. They were tenacious. They could see the data but the drive was not cooperating. After multiple attempts they were able to make the drive work and recover all my data. Whew! I highly recommend as long as the drive is not grinding or making mechanical noises that would require a clean room.

Fast as a shark – We are on our trip around the world and lost connection to the planet because our laptop broke down fataly (we thought we have to give him a funeral). We went to Progressive Tech on a friday and got the promise to get it back on saturday! (Where we come from that sounds like a good told story you don t believe in). After two phonecalls (they called us to report what happened and how they proceed!) we went back to the store on saturday 3 o clock and everything was fixed. Great and well done job. Now it s wor... read more

Great Mac Repair! – Picture it: graphic designer with a deadline - computer crashes - client is unsympathetic (naturally). I took my G5 tower in to Progressive Tech and in a little over 24 hours, I had my machine and was back to work. Pros: they worked extremely quickly and actually came in LESS expensive than the initial quote. The only con was that it was a little on the pricey side. That said, they more than made up for it in quality and timely service. Thanks guys!
