I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Progressive Property Group. Despite meeting all the qualifications for the property, including providing proof of sufficient income, excellent credit scores, and strong references from previous landlords, my application was denied without a clear or justifiable explanation. Rented with Progressive Property group from Feb 2019- Feb 2021. Would have left the lease in Feb 2020, but that was when my mom was diagnosed with cancer and I could not deal with a move on top of that. 1) rent was above market rate 2) upon move in, Dave Dislere did not send any welcome messages. Instead, I received multiple dry instructions without introductions. Ghosted email response. As a property management company, they will allow tenants to not pay the rent and turn into squatters without consequences. They do not have their own legal support to address or resolve issues like that. Would avoid.
Tenant review. Not great. Tons and tons of emails. I hade three pots outside without plants in them yet. They removed them telling me the lease stated you can only have three potted plants. Ridiculous.illegal. Have fun.
Im not surprised that this group has 5 stars considering most of the reviews are from landlords. As a tenant, this group is terrible. They painted the unit before we moved in, we lived there for ONE YEAR, and they charged us over $1400 for repainting. Its a tiny unit regardless, and there was maybe two 1” touch ups they COULD have done. There is absolutely no way they needed to repaint the entire unit nor charge us that much for it.
