Volunteer work is great
Before becoming a member, what I wanted more than anything else was a sense of connectivity, purpose and community. Two years ago when I found Progress Place that all changed. I feel like I am part of an inclusive community - a community of hope and opportunity for people living with mental illness, like myself. Progress Place has helped me in my work life, social life, and recreational life. The people here are great and I've made many friends here. The work I'm involved in at the Clubhouse has fostered my confidence in returning to the workforce. Progress Place has been amazing for my recovery. I would definitely recommend checking them out!
I've been a member for 28 years. Progress Place provides a great service to people who are living with mental illness. The Clubhouse makes me feel more at ease and has become a part of my weekly routine. Very good overall!
So welcoming and inclusive. People are friendly and there are lots of activities to do.
