For those eager to escape the big chain nightmare A store like this is really a niche store, but great for most any pro or serious drummer. In addition to the awesome vintage pieces they have, they've also got a good repair business going. Opened in 1959 by Bob Yeager and it is now owned by his sons.

Definitely my favorite shop in town for drum gear. Staff is friendly and helpful without you feeling like you're being sold to. Good selection of stuff.
