My girlfriend went for an eye exam and to order eye glasses. She was told they would be ready “in a week or two”. About 3 weeks went by with no calls or emails. I called them to inquire about the glasses and was told there was an issue with the insurance and that the glasses would be ready in 4-5 business days because they were being made at the lab. I do not recommend Proeye. I asked for a basic eye exam and told them I had new Medicare insurance. I had a $45 copay and they said they did take my Advantage Eye Coverage. After getting the exam and purchasing glasses, I received a bill for over $520. There are significant charges that are not covered by insurance. Description: Optical Charge Frame: $115.36 and Optical Charge Lenses: $223.30 plus other charges that exceeded insurance coverage. This is nothing but a bait and switch and taking advantage of the patient.
My eye appointment was in April. It is now August and I still do not have my glasses.
I got my glasses from here and I absolutely love them. This place is very well maintained, very clean, the wait time for appointments is not long of a wait. The workers are nice and very helpful. The eye doctor is very respectful,kind, and funny. I definitely recommend this place.
