We were new to the area and needed a good dentist. We made the mistake of selecting Procare. The place is set up like a horse barn with open stalls. The dental techs were okay, but the receptionist tries selling you treatments that aren't necessary or desired. When we changed dentists shortly after our first visit, they charged us $35.to have x-rays emailed to out new dentist where most dentists charge nothing. Dr. Allen is a great dentist. She fixed my root canal like a real pro! She kept me comfortable even though it wasn't a simple procedure. Her dental office is state of the art and her dental chairs are like the ones at the expensive movie theater-nice and comfy for a big guy like me to sit in for a couple of hours while someone pokes in your mouth with dental instruments.. LOL. Her staff was kind and receptive..

Dr. Allen is the best! Dr. Allen and staff are the best! They saw me at the last minute when I had a tooth ache. They took really good care of me and got me out of pain. I would recommend Dr. Allen to everyone. Her fees are discounted too and that really helped.
Dr. Allen is a very kind and personable dentist. However, I would not recommend her for any cosmetic procedures. I had crowns done on the front of my mouth to upgrade my smile. She didn't offer me all porcelain crowns, I received porcelain crowns with a metal backing. They are a very nice color but they definitely look fake.
I needed a hole lot of work in my mouth. I went for my consultation with Dr. Allen. SHE is the one who sat with me and reviewed my x-rays with me and what treatment I needed. She did not have some office manager sit down and tell me the treatment. I was able to ask questions to the doctor directly as we were discussing the treatment I needed. Dr. Allen-Kaplan is both caring and smart. I plan on having her do all my dental work. She is very affordable and uses the latest equipment.
