I was referred to Dr. Nelson by my Primary care Dr when I was having shortness of breath last Aug. I was in his office a number of times having tests, which fortunately revealed only minor problems. Every time I was there, everyone was professional, polite and kind. I rarely waited more than 20 minutes and Dr. Nelson always apologized for the wait! (never has that happen before!) I've been back for 2 follow up appointments and am happy to recommend Dr Nelson to all.

Dr. Nelson is a superb, caring doctor who is thoughtful and reasonable in his approach to treatment. He listens closely to my concerns so we work together on my health. I've been going to Dr. Nelson for several years and I give him my strongest recommendation. ("Yes, Doc, I know I still need to lose a few more pounds!")
Dr. Nelson and his staff are the best. Bill and I have been coming here a couple of months for vein procedures. Today is the last day. Everyone here is caring, loving, and very professional. I'm so glad we came here. We would highly recommend Dr. Nelson and his staff for any vein issues you might have.

I have never had a bad visit to Proactive Heart and Vein Center. The receptionist, Mary, always has a warm smile and welcoming demeanor to everyone who enters the office. The nursing staff is the best! They are caring and compassionate, outstanding in their profession! The procedure room, which can be a very cold and sterile experience, is made bearable by their personable approach, which sets me at ease. I'm sure that this is all because of Dr. Nelson, who sets the example for great bedside manner.
Dr. Nelson is very detailed. He shows compassion towards his patients. I just love him!! And the staff in the office are so loving and sweet!!
