I absolutely love working with Pro8mm! I had an emergent situation, paid the rush fee and was able to get my film back the quickest I’ve ever had with any other service. They are friendly, kind and very easy to work with! I will continue to work with them for years to come. Also - if you purchase film and you need it quickly, their express shipping absolutely gets it to you in time!
I have sent film to Pro8mm for over 10 years now and they have always done a good job developing and processing my film. That said, in the past year or two they have become quite inefficient. You basically have to call them two or three times after filling out all the necessary forms to make sure that they actually do their job. Pro8mm, you are going to lose some loyal customers if you don't start doing a better job with your customer service!
I’ve used pro8mm a few times to develop and scan super 8 film and they are the absolute best. Fair pricing and very fast turnaround. Mailed in from the east coast to California and I have a digital file in my inbox within 2 weeks. Just ordered a new kit and will be sending it in soon! I love this new hobby.
They sent me a scan that had glitches all over it, then I emailed them and a lady said they would rescan at no charge and it was their fault, and they were about to mail me back my negatives without remembering to rescan and so I had to call them and nobody knew what was going on but they said they would rescan (hopefully). Then the guy didn't even say sorry for what had happened with the no follow through or offer like a free development/scan in the future or something for the hassle of everything.
