Very helpful staff!
I am one of the directors on the project that producer Yohanan Doron referenced above. The experience with this lab has been unacceptable. The owner, Jaclyn, gave us one set of excuses, saying everyone was sick, while the staff member we spoke to on the phone said it was because a machine was broken. Unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility for their delays. After missing their 7-day turnaround, the owner Jaclyn gave me a list of excuses for why the job wasn’t done and why she couldn’t tell me when it would be finished. Yet in the same email says if I pay and $250 extra, they could complete it in one day from now even though it was already late. I absolutely love working with Pro8mm! I had an emergent situation, paid the rush fee and was able to get my film back the quickest I’ve ever had with any other service. They are friendly, kind and very easy to work with! I will continue to work with them for years to come. Also - if you purchase film and you need it quickly, their express shipping absolutely gets it to you in time!
I have sent film to Pro8mm for over 10 years now and they have always done a good job developing and processing my film. That said, in the past year or two they have become quite inefficient. You basically have to call them two or three times after filling out all the necessary forms to make sure that they actually do their job. Pro8mm, you are going to lose some loyal customers if you don't start doing a better job with your customer service!
