We had such a good experience! The guy at Pro Trans was so helpful, understanding of our situation, fair, and quick. It was awesome. We were on vacation and the check engine light, specifically something about the transmission or solonoids, came on. The Firestone on West Craig didn't look at the car, but said they'd probably need to rebuild the transmission for $1500. First off! I stopped at a different shop first. Being a senior citizen makes you have to be a little more careful about how you spend that pension check. After having two other repair shops literally lie, promise and not deliver, one kept my car for 11 days and said it was fixed. A month later it was back in for the same problem and he kept it for another 12 days! I had to rent a car to make doctor appointments! He was so deceitful and dishonest, it was unbelievable. After being ripped off by fivestar transmissions at 5977 mcloleod, which is owned by David clingman, I was relieved to be referred to pro trans who did exactly what they were paid for. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fast.
