i bought my first pro tech which was a tr-4 and im in love wih it by far the best auto/ folder knife ive ever had !!! looking forward to adding more to my collection.
When I saw The Don I knew I had to have it. Best knife I've ever owned.
I have autos from several manufacturers but my Protech is the one in my pocket every day. Protech equals quality. Opens fast and locks up tight. Solid in my hand and tough as a sledge hammer!
I have 34 auto Pro-Techs, and one manual, 21 of which are my favorite Tr-3s. They are the cream of my collection of over 300 knives that includes mid-techs and all the major brands. A number of these other knives match the fit & finish of my Pro-Techs, many were a lot more expensive, but I've yet to find one, at any price, production or handmade, that betters them. Yes I am a fan!
I'm addicted to Pro-Techs. Walter Brend actually sold me my first Pro-Tech, a Brend #2 Prototype. Now I have more than 20. If I could make a request, I want a titanium TR-4 flipper.
