I had a great experience. Sudden knee pain made me look for medical assistance and tried an orthopedist and was told to wait a week. Dr. Poovendran saw me the same day with comprehensive scan, assessment and accurate diagnosis. No wait in office either, this is rare for any Miami specialist and the care was great - double win.

I had STEM, PRP, A2M, and shockwave procedures on my right knee in July 2025, followed by six months of peptide therapy. I’ve known Dr Poovendron for more than 10 years. He’s helped me with arthritis in my knees and hands. He introduced me to “PRP” back then and the technology has only gotten better. I recently had PRP in both hands - my thumbs in particular. The procedure is minimally painful. Recovery was a day with some swelling and Tylenol. This is now day four and the swelling is gone.
