We went in for my daughter to donate UP to 10", whatever amount we could but leaving her hair at shoulder length. (Her hair was middle of her back, all 1 length ) we left with the hairdresser cutting it just below her ears and LAYERED and felt she did nothing wrong. Horrible experience, saying is true "you get what you pay for " sadly it's an 8 yr old who is paying this price.
