Dispatched 2 1/2 hours away from here to transport 12 miles from my home to the VA. 45 minutes late, scratched my husband's foot and made it bleed. He's diabetic. Ran his bandaged foot into the wall, left him unattended on the stretcher. Had to go get them out of the parking lot then argued with me about it. Unprofessional. Will definitely report this to the VA.

Was transported from Piedmont South to Eastside. They didn’t even speak to me during the entire ride. EMT in the back sat in the captains seat the entire duration watching videos extremely loud on his phone. No assessment, no vitals. Nothing. Then going down the hall headed to my room they slammed the stretcher into a rather large floor cleaning machine. Unprofessional experience.

They are almost NEVER on time. My husband needs transport to home, he was supposed to be discharged at 4pm Sat, he keeps getting deferred, because of “emergency transport” we are going on 20 hours of wait time (it is Sunday @ noon) They told us 1.75 hrs ago they were 45 mins out. Still waiting. Another time, he was scheduled for an 8am pick up for a week of appointments and the closest they came to on time was 20 mins late. If I ever ran a company that way, I’d be fired. If I could say 1 good thing. The medics are decent.
