On January 31, 2026, I attended a birthday party for my niece at the PRN pool located in Mount Vernon IL. We arrived late, but I immediately noticed the “lifeguard.” She was young, wearing jeans and boots, and was sitting in a chair. Instead of watching the water, she was on her phone. So much so, that with just 30 minutes left of the party, another child jumped back into the pool without his floatie. His sister began screaming he was drowning. The best start to my day at least 5 days a week! I have never had the relief to my joints like I do here! Made a great group of friends there too! It doesn't get any better than this!!!

Wonderful pool warm at 92 today! Excellent staff. Janetta is great always helpful and friendly. Good friends at the pool.
