The staff are attentive and polite and they focus on resolving your concerns instead of just treating symptoms and sending you on your way. It feels less like a regular appointment and more like being cared for by people who are truly invested in your health and well-being. The office seems to be in much better shape than before.
I’ve Had Sickle Cell my whole life I was born with it and my sickle cell doctor Carla Roberts is Like my second Mom absolutely loves the work this doctor office does I will never go anywhere else 🫶🏾💙
Today, I had my first visit , MD Battle was absolutely amazing. He educated me on the disease process, taught me some things I didn’t even know and also listen to me as a patient. I’ve been followed by Lex Med for years and have decided to allow Prisma to manage this disease process for me. By far the BEST decision I’ve made so far.
These days it is extremely hard to find a doctor that will actually give you care for sickle cell related issues. Even if your medical records is easily available to show that yes, it is something you deal with for your entire life, most doctors in south carolina will not give you the time of day thanks to the opioid epidemic making it hard for those that actually needs pain related care.
