I need to take a break just for a moment and discuss another important issue that impacts women specifically minority women more so. Let’s talk about fibroids, these pesky and usually non-cancerous growths in the uterus can lead to debilitating pain, discomfort, and cause a total disruption in a woman’s life. We suffer in silence and oftentimes shame because women are expected to be strong, resilient, and work through the intense pain like I did for the past two years until I discovered the ACESSA procedure and Dr. Albert Od... read more

I went there today with my 2 kids age 5 and 10 and they told me I had to leave my 10 year old outside alone while I took my 5 year old inside for xray. That is a horrible so called policy since I just brought them both inside a month ago. What kind of place would expect you to leave a child alone outside. We will not be going back to that hospital or recommending them to anyone

My wife and I just had our baby here Monday. EVERYONE on the labor and delivery floor was absolutely phenomenal but I would like to thank especially one angel that worked there. Her name is Shawnta. I truly believe God put her on that floor for the days that we were there for a reason. As I type this with tear filled eyes, I just can’t find the words to say thank you enough! We had a 5 week early preemie and Shawnta was there every step of the way for baby, mommy and me. I hope someone in her management team reads this becau... read more

I was transported to Parkridge Hospital ER today. Upon arrival, I couldn’t breathe. One of the ER nurses told me I had to wear a mask wherein I informed her that I couldn’t breathe. She raised her voice and said I Had To Wear one. I repeated to her that I couldn’t breathe. She said it didn’t matter and that I had to wear one. What?! I can’t breathe and it doesn’t matter?!!!! She never asked me if I had a medical condition. I then raised my voice and told her I wasn’t going to wear one. Their Policies make no sense. They let ... read more

My mom was admitted to the ER today. Her condition makes her not always remember important details of her medical condition, so I am very concerned that no one was allowed in the ER with her. I understand we can't have a ton of people, but not allowing her to have an advocate for her health and well being is wrong. We did not receive a call requesting medical history and can only hope someone read the paperwork we sent in with her and looked at the bottles of medication we sent in as well. I have experienced too many hospita... read more

Today was was the absolute worst ER visit I have ever experienced. I totally understand we can not come in due to COVID-19 however there was ZERO empathy for the family waiting, the entire staff in the ER was subpar. I will never use this hospital again! Think twice before you go here! An ER is a tough job but you have to care and have empathy PERIOD.
