We worked with Renee at Prism for months leading up to a lip tie revision on my 2 year old, and in recovery and strengthening exercises after. He is a sensitive kid, but enjoyed and looked forward to “playing with Renee”. His oral function and sensory sensitivity improved over the time of working with her, and I’m so glad we had her support through that time.
Our experience with Renee was nothing short of amazing! We came to after a referral from an ENT for our 3 month old to assess his feeding challenges. She was able to immediately diagnose his condition, and referred us to a pediatric dentist that could do the procedure after therapy. I can not recommend her enough!
We loved coming to see Renee! She’s so much more than just an SLP—she brings a deep understanding of many aspects of development, including reflexes, regulation, and so much more. My son saw her for laryngomalacia and oral ties, and she’s supported us through every stage. Renee is a great therapist! My son seemed to make good progress, and she was a pleasure to work with.
My husband and I constantly refer to Renee as simply magical. When our daughter started attending feeding/myofunctional therapy at age 4, she had maybe 5 foods she would eat consistently and they all revolved around cheese. We couldn’t go out to eat because we knew that even the kids menu wouldn’t have anything she would eat on it.
