best Chinese in Kansas city – if you can overlook the dim and dated decor, this food is excellent. A burst of flavor in every dish we tried. The Chinese chicken salad is sublime. Service was very attentive and friendly. A must visit!
Gross and dirty – We used to LOVE this place. It was the best place to get Peking Duck carved right at your table by the chef. The last time we did, the "chef" had a filthy t-shirt and dirty hands, carved our duck, we ate our dinner and promptly decided never to go there again. It was the third time we gave them a chance and this time we decided we'd given them enough chances. Excellent food and service! – This is a wonderful Chinese restaurant! The food is delicious, reasonably priced and portions are generous. The decor is authentic and the staff are all friendly and courteous. I wouldn't think of eating Chinese food anywhere else!
Would never recommend this place to anyone – I have eaten at this restaurant twice, both times I think it has been the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The second and last time we ate there my husband was ill the next day.
I guess the good reviews might be posted by the owner(s).... The worst Chinese food anywhere in this country. If you do eat at this place, be forwarned if you are looking for something tasty.

Amazing Food! – We were referred to Princess Garden by friends from St. Louis who eat there every time they are in KC. They have amazing food! You get large portions and this is not the kind of Chinese place where everything tastes the same. You can tell they use quality ingredients in everything. While we were there, there were several birthday parties, so they are great with groups.
