average Went here once, just because it was the closest Chinese place and that's what we were in the mood for. Probably wouldn't go again, just because I wasn't blown away by anything this restaurant had to offer. It's pretty much like any other average Chinese restaurant you have been to - nothing to brag about here.
Remarkable Treasure – We often come to Kansas City (from Wichita). If we get nothing more done than paying respectful homage to the best Chinese Restaurant we have ever experienced and some minor shopping, we call it a day well lived. We have been patronizing PGR since the early 90s when I attended Devry Institute. Yum! – We've been eating at Princess Garden for several years now, and our dining experience just seems to get better and better! I have to confess though, we don't eat the typical Chinese menu dishes...we ask the chef to prepare whatever he fells like making that night, and we have never been disappointed. Amazing food – When I ate the food at Princess Gardens, I felt like Jesus came down from the heavens and touched my taste buds. Just kidding, but really it was amazing. I had the Spiced Chicken Szechwan Style. It was soooo good and the staff was very kind. Everything was cooked to perfection and the price was reasonable. Dumplings are to die for. Overall an amazing place to eat! Check it out!
Good food, consisent quality – We have ordered take out from Princess Garden numerous times as well as eaten in the restaurant. The food is consistently very tasty, served in traditional Chinese style at the table, and the staff are all friendly and efficient. I recommend it!

Chinese Fortune – When I walked in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. Great atmophere and everyone LOOKED friendly. Once I sat down i peaked over my shoulder and peered into the kitchen. When I saw was a man beating a little boy with a peeking duck. I was scared for my life so i decided to leave and never come back. But overall, the place was nice and friendly.
