My wife and I were aboard the Asia cruise on Sapphire Princess from 12/21/18-1/5/19 from Singapore to Shanghai. This is the same cruise Jeff Q was on (review written on 2/1/19). On Friday, January 4th 2019 at 6pm, I received a phone call in my cabin from management Teri/Kari who tells my wife and I that there are issues for passengers ****** directly to Japan from disembarkation. We were disappointed to note that you received miscommunication from our staff regarding the rescheduling of your flights. As your air was booked independently and not booked through Princess, you would be responsible for rescheduling any air arrangements. We understand that you were advised differently by ship staff and we sincerely regret the upset and disappointment this caused. They did not send refundable money from my cruise

We have reviewed your reservation and confirmed that the amenity you received was non-refundable and has no cash value off the ship. While you did have a ***** non-refundable onboard credit remaining at the end of your voyage, this onboard credit is intended for your use and enjoyment during your sailing. Princess Cruises Abandoned My Family in China My family (with my wife and 3 kids aged 12, 17, and 20) and I recently went on the 15 night Grand Asia cruise on the Saffire Princess, that left from Singapore Dec. 21, 2018, and ended in Shanghai on January 5th, 2019. If I could give zero stars I would. From terrible food to abhorrent customer service, Princess Cruises made what would have been a wonderful journey to Alaska an absolute nightmare. They lied on their sales material, not to mention promising they could provide babysitter and then waiting until we were on the ship to tell us they cannot do so. The excursions were obtusely expensive and they make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to cancel. Princess nickel-and-dimed us at every turn. What's worse is that for 3 whole days, the ship didn... read more

We are retired, and booked a "bucket list" cruise with Princess to Hawaii, our second cruise with them (about our 6th in total). We booked/reserved in March 2017 for cruise Jan 2018. We had been told that we got a "discounted rate" because of early bird booking. Don't believe this nonsense! My believing them just cost me a minimum of $1500, and an upgrade from ocean view to balcony! Princess Cruises customer support is horrible! If you ever go on a princess cruise you better hope everything goes well. If anything goes wrong they will not stand behind it. They will continue to pass you to someone else trying to wear you out and if you still hang on they will just tell you it is your issue and there is no one else you can talk to about it.

An unscrupulous doctor in the spa on the Star Princess pressured my sick wife into purchasing nearly $1200 of spa products when all my wife wanted was acupuncture therapy for severe pain. I returned the products to the spa company when they arrived and have waited a month-and-half to receive a paper check (which I still don't have) because Princess Cruises refuses to refund my credit card.
