I was told, after my medication was stolen, that the PA on this particular night had a 90 mins wait time. After 4 hours, I spoke to patients (& not a single one had been called in) who had been there between 9 & 13 hours! I looked through the glass partition & saw nurses & administration standing around. Several nurses, outside the partition, walked deliberately slowly, never smiled & showed a contemptuous face. After 5+ hours we left. I was later told, that hours before we even arrived, they’d run out of beds & nobody told ... read more

We have been waiting for a long time for my husbands health issue. This place is a very dangerous place. The security in blue shirts who I think are hospital security do a great job and are visible. I see another security persons that look like police but maybe from the jails. They look like they are on a meal break. Some have not got off there mobile phones. I was there for a friend to help her check in and wait around. I cannot applaud the staff enough for their lovely demeanour and calm approach; especially when dealing with all sorts in the emergency department. I was treated with respect and acknowledged each time, and felt very at ease. I could never do the job they do and have every bit of respect for the team.
