Get directionsExpect a 7 hour wait for a legitimate emergency if you’re lucky! Upon arrival I was told 3 hours max wait, after 3 hours I was told 4 more hours! Please rename these departments to the waiting department and give people the option to opt out of paying criminal amounts if tax towards these non existent services.
Started at emergency like every other hospital is a damn long wait.. but I was taking care of very well. Spent the night in 4D the nurses and every one provided professional and excellent service.
When my brother in law was admitted this past week i have nothing but full admiration for the staff in emergency esp. Conner, Jordan et al for their compassion and understanding. The organisation for his transfer to Greenslopes was seamless and made for an easy admission. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Got there at 7 pm and it’s 247 am and still haven’t been seen. Been told only 1 doctor after 12 am.. waited 8 hours in emergency. Staff offer next to no assurance, everyone visibly annoyed. I’m sitting here with symptoms of a stroke and I’m not deemed important. Then 2 prisoners come in and get seen before everyone , not even an upstanding them you just get told your next. It is so bad, I want to give you a zero, but that's not possible, so I give you a one. Honestly- worst medical experience I’ve ever experienced. Nurses and the initial assessment were standard, as expected in an ER- the 2 male ‘doctors’ when admitted- 6 HOURS LATER- Experience was disgusting, the manager/senior in particular- argumentative and dismissive.
