Open since 1956, Primo’s is definitely one of the most famous and original donut shops in Los Angeles. It added to creating the pink box that donuts come in, which is now a famous staple all over the world. Their buttermilk bar put them on the map, but they’re also famous for their cinnamon roll and a whole bunch of other donuts. Seriously the best donuts I’ve ever tasted. Like ever.
I put 5 stars based on memories only. This was the stop before crossing the street to go to school (Webster Junior High). I doubt it still taste the same as it did 40+ years ago. Great memories though.
