Chicago style dinning has finally landed in the burbs! Ambiance of this place is tasteful and elegant. For dinner, my girlfriend had the chicken Alfredo and I went with the 10oz filet, both were very delicious! We were excited for dessert and wow ... the chocolate cake portion was HUGE! Was enough for both of us and we even brought some home. Definitely a new favorite place in Lake County!

Primo is the place to dine in for any occasion, it offers the perks of a city restaurant and more without the driving hassle. It's gorgeous elegant and classy. Great service,super friendly staff,our server Samantha was helpful attentive and her recommendations were on point, she made our night very pleasant. Plenty of selections from appetizer to desserts and the icing on the cake was the endless variety of beverages. I highly recommended.

It started with a warm greeting at the door, to very prompt and polite seating at the CHEF'S TABLE, I might add, to a delicious meal start to finish. We started with a nice bottle of wine, ( I hope they add purse hooks to the bar because that would just make the place perfect! ) Next we ordered Kobe Brisket and Crispy Goat Cheese. As one of the people in Gurnee who can remember when this establishment was a steak house before (Black Angus) it's nice to see an upscale restaurant testing the waters in my home town. The Khayats have a rich tradition in the restaurant biz but this is a step way out of their box. And it's a winner! The decor is simply fantastic.
