I ate at Primo last night. The Caesar salad is probably one of the best I could have ever eaten. I had the six ounce filet and it was so tender that you could cut it with a knife. The service was terrific and the ambiance was superb. If you are looking for a diamond in the rough then this is your place. Truly great food - great people and a super place to go to in the north shore area.
Horrible service....took our waiter over 10 minutes just to get 2 drinks from the bar. The place was dead. There was no reason for anything to be slow that night. Our waiter called us "late night diners" even though it was only 9:30...very off-putting considering the place is open until 1am. Took forever just to order too. It was nearly 30 min before we even ordered. The last straw was I almost swallowed a bad oyster. Never had a bad oyster in my life until this place. Friends you to experience the great food here. I brought a good friend here for a Bday lunch. First warm bread and butter. Then the huge stuffed meatballs, so good. Then she ordered the Ribeye Pork Chop, juicy with flavored butter. I had the Roasted Chicken Cacciatore with red sauce, also very good. The noodles were like silk that tickled your tongue. Visited Primo last night for the first time with a group of friends. Everything was spectacular! I had the Shrimp Gigli (fantastic), and many of my friends ordered the lasagna (loved it!). The lasagna portions were HUGE. Service was excellent, dessert was phenomenal, ambience was warm and inviting. Will definitely be coming back!
