Dined here for my birthday yesterday (Jan 5) and feels like this is a hidden gem with so much potential. First off food quality is top notch with every piece of sushi very well and carefully crafted by Chef Eric and, wao - they were so fresh and delicious! My family and I were excited that Prime Omakase opened as we live in the building attached to it! However, our experience was disappointing. We had reservations at 6:30 at the counter. When we arrived, there weren’t 4 seats together so we were sat at a table- no problem. Our server was very friendly and kind. We ordered 4 omakase experiences and one roll. Normally I'm not bothered by bad service, but after waiting for 3-4 minutes at the top of the stairs, we had go find the host and ask to be seated. After another 3-4 minutes, we asked a passing busser if we could see some menus. Our waiter was friendly, but maybe just seemed new. Very solid omakase. Each course topped the last and the chefs were enthusiastic in their explanations of each dish (Shoutout to Daniel!) Staff was attentive and courteous. Would come back again!
