Extremely Poor Experience – Do Not Recommend This was an awful, infuriating experience from start to finish, and I would strongly urge anyone considering this practice to go elsewhere. I arrived at 11:10 AM for an 11:30 appointment, only to waste 20 minutes circling their parking garage because there was no available parking. I’ve been a patient here for over 3 years and have always had a great experience with Dr. Castellanos — no complaints at all about his care. My issue is with the office communication. I recently moved almost 3 hours away and asked if my lab review could be done over the phone. The doctor said no problem. I booked the appointment at the front desk, and they told me someone would call to collect the copay before the doctor called. No one ever called. Everything is fine until you have a problem — then good luck getting any help. I’ve called countless times and never get a real solution. I even went in person, and they still couldn’t help me. Every time I call, they say someone will call me back to follow up, but no one ever does. It’s an endless cycle with absolutely no assistance or resolution. Very disappointing experience.
The front desk person was nice. Beyond that this is the worst experience I’ve had at a doctor’s office. I was sitting in the examination room for over an hour and walked out after that. I speak 3 languages fluently, have lived in non-English speaking countries and am very understanding of language differences and am used to accents etc but the medical assistant (who was taking my entire medical history) could not understand English or what I was saying.
