I went to the clinic because I had severe flu like symptoms. The lady at the front desk told me I had a co pay, which is generally fine, however I informed her I work for the goverment (You can see on my insurance card she had in her hand it says Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal) and asked if she could bill it to me. Due to the shut down we are not being paid right now. To my understanding you can request to be billed your co pay, along with your portion of the bill after your insurance has been billed.
