Security nurses and staff were all kind and professional.
First my son was life flighted for cluster gran mal seizures that wouldn't stop. We were told they were going to admit him and test him, they just had to wait for a room (that was at 6AM) it's now 12:30pm and no room, just same ER room and no one checking on him or doing tests or anything and they tried to discharge my son once before he even woke from the massive amount of medications he was given to stop the seizures. I never imagined I would leave Primary Children’s feeling this heartbroken. We brought our nonverbal autistic 3-year-old daughter to the emergency department after multiple visits for severe pain, urinary retention, and a confirmed E. coli urine culture. One physician listened to our concerns, found an alternative to oral antibiotics because of her autism and feeding challenges, and initially agreed that admission was appropriate. We were hopeful.
