This has got to be the most unethical medical practice I’ve ever encountered! I need a regular therapist (which they actually don’t employ, they employ social workers and call them therapists lol) and the only one who accepts my insurance in ALL of town happens to work for this company. I have a had experience with a wide variety of doctors and care and I must say that my experience was less than professional. I would not recommend this practice for anything other than a cold.
RecommendedDr. Erhardt's nurse, Aubrey, is always wonderful and goes the extra mile to help even when it's not really her job. She is always patient and returns messages about issues promptly and with proper resolutions. Definitely a major asset! Thanks for the many years of excellence Aubrey!
I was recommended to Primary Care Associates PLLC specifically Janice Shippy APRN. I had my first appointment with her in June 2108. I took my personal medical files, recently acquired blood work, liver ultrasound, that another doctor begrudgingly referred me for but just couldn't seem to find it necessary to consult me with the results. We are new to Primary Care Associates. The care given to my son from Dr. Simmons was wonderful. I had to make a second appointment which was scheduled with Janice Shippy, NP. She was absolutely INCREDIBLE and on top of some issues that needed to be resolved. The office staff on the other hand hasn’t been very helpful, friendly or polite. Right now as I’m typing this I’m trying to make an appointment to bring my son in today and nobody is answering the phone. Saw Dr. Vaclaw for a problem I'd been experiencing for 4 years, he was very sympathetic and knowledgeable and set me up IMMEDIATELY with Dr. McNamara (a gastroenterologist, others wouldn't let me see them for months!) and I got much-needed tests and appointments within a matter of days. I've never experienced such a level of service. I booked a physical 6 weeks out because that is the earliest they had available. 4 weeks after that they call and said the doctor would be out of town. I explained my situation and needed it done because of medical benefits. The lady (Tiffany) sounded less than sympathetic to say the least. I needed something in by the last day in September. They scheduled me for 9/27. And wouldn't give me a guarantee they could get my results in on time. Seriously it is a standard blood screen and a 1 page forum.
Dr. Simmons has been fine. But I feel like my care is being decided by the front desk. I have had trouble getting my sleeping medicine. I have to go pick up the prescription. I called Friday. They need 48 hours notice. This is Tuesday and I am still waiting for their call. First time I went to get a prescription...I was two days too early. I have fibromyalgia. The medicine was prescribed a few years ago to help me get deep enough sleep..otherwise I'm in pain. If this keeps up I will look for another doctor.
