I started with dr wright over 10 years ago when he was in barrhaven, he was fantastic and we loved him. He moved to kanata and we went with him. He move to stittsville and we went with him and that is where our mistake was. His practice decided to only open appointments a week at a time which meant we could never get into him, when we did see him he was cold and didn’t listen and his staff were useless. De-rostered out of the blue like many others. This should be illegal....I was with him since he opened his practice in Barrhaven. Our medical system is very third world. Funny thing is I would have switched doctors years ago but you're basically stuck in this system because they are so hard to find. Making an appt was ALWAYS a challenge, they should cap how many patients a Dr takes on not the opposite, let them take on as many as they want then randomly cut them. Such a bullshit system. After over a decade of undeserved patient loyalty—following Dr. Wright across three different clinics with the "at least we have a GP" mindset—our entire family was suddenly derostered yesterday with no explanation other than we were each randomly selected as Dr Wright has too many patients. For years, securing an appointment for adults in our household felt virtually impossible, which unfortunately resulted in chronic health issues remaining untreated. I was a patient when Dr Wright was in Barrhaven and then it was possible to book an appointment, he moved to kanata and was still able to get an appointment since he opened his clinic in Stittsville it absolutely awful. Impossible to get an appointment and if you are luck enough to book something online they cancel it on you right before the appointment. This dr should not be in practice. He has no compassion for his patients. There is never any appointments for 50+ and when you cannot get into seeing him and go to another wslk in clinic .i have been trying for months to see him. He gets upset. Not everyone can use a computer to make their appoints either Medeo.
