I have been coming to Prickly Pear for five years now, and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. My stylist, Emily, is so incredibly talented. I see her for my root touch-ups, cuts, and a blowout with styling. She always takes the time to listen to exactly what I’m looking for while offering her own expert suggestions. I can’t recommend Prickly Pear more! I love all the staff. You are always greeted with a warm smile & hello when you walk in. The salon is always clean & beautiful. I’ve been going to Emily for almost 2 years and she has been amazing each time! My hair is always well taken care of & looks amazing. I really love the energy, vibe & atmosphere here. If you’re looking for a new salon in Cary/ Raleigh area, Prickly Pear is the place to go!
This salon is truly one of the best. Emily is amazing!! I won’t let anyone else upkeep my blonde hair (I am a natural brunette) and she makes it look so natural. The salon owner Laura is so personable and makes an effort to get to know all the clients no matter which stylist they see. The salon is clean, and is a very welcoming/calming space. i have seen three different stylists in the last 3 years at prickly pear salon and each of them is attentive, perceptive, and most importantly — really freakin good at hair!! i most recently got my hair color by Taylor who specializes in vivids and at all times they made sure i knew what they were thinking, and where we were at in the process. i love this salon!!
The staff were all very friendly and super helpful from when I walked through the door. The salon itself was very clean and stylish, and the environment was very welcoming and relaxing. My stylist, Taylor, did such a good job at listening to what I wanted and making it happen. She made sure I understood what she was doing, gave tips to help at home, and was really genuinely interested in making me feel comfortable.
