A friend of mine took his son in for a "free" cleaning. He later received a bill for $36.00. Their explanation was that the insurance didn't cover the fluoride treatment. Okay, he didn't ask for a fluoride treatment, he went in for the free cleaning. No one said, hey, we want to do a fluoride treatment but it will cost you $36.00.
