problem may be corporate – The BHL restaurants are not all they are cracked up to be. I agree with some of the negative postings about them. I think that the service is really lacking.
Best Food Anywhere – I took a group of customers to Pricci's in December 2006 and loved it so much, I returned with my husband for our anniversary in October 2007. Everyone agreed it was the best food. Service is fantastic, wine selection was delightful and I'm still craving the food. I will use whatever excuse I can to return to Atlanta just to dine at this restaurant.
very, very good – IWe have been to this restaurant twice and loved it both times. We have already made reservations for our yearly holiday dinner. Both times our waiters have been very good and very knowledgeable about the menu. Before ever going to Pricci , I used to drive by and see it on Pharr Road and always wanting to eat there. After the first time I was hooked.
They'll 2nd/3rd shelf liquor you on 1st-shelf drink orders – My first drink order, a Grey Goose and soda, was not honored by wait servers (medicinal tasting vodka + soda instead). Tanqueray choice was honored for my second drink, but not on the second round (it was snake-bite gin). I strongly counsel you to return drinks the first round if they're playing you. The cod was unevenly cooked. Espresso was not worthy of Starbucks (maybe Nestle instant? Not even Illy, unless they made coffee two days ago and warmed it up in a micr... read more
Will Be Back – Had only been to Pricci once, several years ago. Great service, our server had great knowledge of the wine list. Delicious calamari and prosciutto. My veal parm was overcooked (be aware that the portion is huge and the leg is still attached) and I heard around the table that both the sea bass and halibut were subpar. Will definitely be back but will stick to pasta.
Excellent Food – Excellent food. My partner and I had the pasta dishes and also desserts and it was fantastic. Fresh, authentic and not heavy at all for Italian food. High recommended.... great job.
nothing out-of-this-world – I have always liked Pricci, but don't go there often enough because my wife hates it (not sure why--it's Italian, so that might be part of it). I think it's good food and the service has always been great. I guess it just doesn't come to mind when I think about amazing restaurants in Atlanta. I was shocked to hear about someone else's complaint on here re: the treatment she and her fiance received, but that would make me also never want to return to a place. I'm sorry this happened to her. If you'... read more
Insulting Service, Mediocre Food – Overall, very disappointed with the service. Firstly, even though we had reservations, we were kept waiting for 20 minutes past our reservation time. Secondly, while trying to order a drink at the bar, we had to flag down the bartender several times before receiving attention and then had to virtually beg for our bill. Thirdly, our waitress was terrible, very inattentive and rude. Never brought one drink even when reminded, and kept refilling the other, "conviently" forgetting to mention th... read more
Great Customization & Service – The food was better than good, though not very authentic Italian the chef clearly went out of his/her way for us. We practically had to 'make our own pasta' because I'm vegetarian & even though this is one of the more vegetarian-friendly places in Atlanta they didn't have what we wanted. They bent over backwards to accomodate all our special requests. The service was SO GREAT and attentive, customized food to wine recommendations that really made sense. Our waitress for the evening was truly t... read more
