In the past 3 years I have been there 5 times with 4 different patients. There is NOTHING that I could point to as a problem that occurred or an improvement that could be made. Wait times were anywhere from non-existent to 3 hours in the longest case, but that was more than 2 hours of waiting for the doctor after having seen two nurses and being placed in a room to lay down. Came in with my wife at 8:50 this morning. No one in the waiting rm. Went right to the back area were we sat in the row of chairs. There were 6 arms with people in them n us the only ones in a chair waiting for a rm. People in rm beside us were here before us n r still waiting. Still waiting as 6 hrs have gone by. In the back area, a lady collapsed, hitting her head off a cart than the floor but there was nobody around to help her. Barb ran out to the front saying "a woman fell n there's nobody back there". Dear Hospital Administrators, I have recently visited the emergency department and was surprised to see a group of more than six or seven nurses gathered together, chatting and seemingly not attending to patients. After their conversation ended, I overheard one of them ask if they could go on break—which made me wonder what they had been doing all along. Came in with chest pain and something wrong with my knee and all was done in a 5 hour period is a ecg and blood work. Waiting in a room just to see doctor taking more than 3 hours. No results no other testing done while waiting. Just a waste of a bed for over 3 hours. And no results. If they dont do scans im getting a lawyer for malpractice. As this is enough.

I waited over 3 hrs to get a fish hook removed from my finger. There is one doctor working the emergency….awful service, understaffed and extremely slow.
