I’m so glad for Google lol that’s how I was able to have my hair Blessed by Flora. I was getting nervous because I was not having any luck with an appointment short notice. And by The Grace of God I googled braiders near me and 💥 pretty Star Walnut Creek appeared. My braids are beautiful and I’m so happy that her studio is near me. Customer service, smiles and good energy was A1 thank You Pretty Star and Flora, I have a party tonight and my braids will be the ⭐️

OMG these ladies are not 100 percent business. And as to black owned the service was bad my first day there. So i needed Two Stitch braids. Now when i got there i called the lady to let her know i was there and she say she's on her way waiting on her husband. A whole hour pass by i called back and she said go inside an let the other lady know that i need my hair wash an condition i do that. So the other lady is already doing hair she tell me to wait until she done. Now remind you this lady is charging me $80. 15 Minutes late... read more

I feel compelled to write a review. I was so hesitant to write a review because I don’t like to be critical of Black-owned businesses, but these sisters are overwhelmingly deserving of a negative review. I brought my little girl in for her first set of box braids at 8 years old to this salon. Unbeknownst to me, the braider used voluminous amounts of hair glue on every single braid. The Pretty Star Hair Braiding is always efficient and gives me exactly what I ask for! They have a wide selection of hair colors, and the employees are very skilled and very kind. I’ve been to several other braiding locations but always find myself returning here!
