RecommendedPreston’s is by far the nicest fine dining dinner experience in Blacksburg. In addition, the breakfast and lunch buffet is second to none.
Great lunch. Tender prime rib. Everything was wonderful. I heard the bread pudding was wow but being from England was not impressed. Has a crème anglaise to go with it that was cold and honestly rather plain. The crust should be crunch and it was soft. Think if needed some bourbon for flavour for the sauce! Otherwise great service and meal. Thank you.
Was invited to Mother's Day brunch with my daughter and her husband. We had a reservation at 2pm which I later found out was the last time of the day of the brunch. The food had obviously been sitting out all day. Nothing fresh seemed to have been brought out. I literally got the last piece of the roast at the carving station. At the drink station the containers were near empty. The only thing to drink was ice water. We had a 'love'ly Valentines dinner at Preston's at the Inn at Virginia Tech. It started off a bit rocky - after waiting 15 minutes for our server to check in, we finally flagged down a server and found out that we had fallen 'between the cracks.' which was quickly remedied with complimentary beverages.
