UPDATED REVIEW: We've lived here for years and it feels like every year it's gotten worse. The trash service sucks. They find any reason not to take your trash. And you're paying a non-negotiable fee for trash service so it sucks. If you live by the pool, good luck. People sneak into the pool all the time in the summer, get wasted and belligerently drunk. Front office staff is amazing as well as maintenance supervisor. The amenities are great as well but parking is terrible and this is the 4th time my car has been broken into. I’ve had to replace items numerous times even though I am parking inside the gate. The walls are thin so I can hear everything from my upstairs neighbors to the gate opening at the entry point of the building. But the apartment community itself is friendly.
Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price Presidio River East looks nice on the surface, but living there has been frustrating and if I could give zero stars I would. If you value peace and quiet, think twice before moving in. The biggest issues here is the terrible noise insulation. I use to think living here was great but the parking is awful. You pay for a gated apartment but are not guaranteed a parking spot within the gates unless you pay for a covered parking spot on top of your rent. I have brought it to their attention twice now and still nothing continues to be done. You can definitely tell they do not care about their residents. Will not be resigning my lease because this is absolutely ridiculous.
