It's a Classic President Barbershop is exactly the kind of place that comes to mind when one thinks of a classic barbershop: 4 chairs, lots of banter, a 20-minute haircut at reasonable prices. As with any shop, the haircuts vary from barber to barber, day to day. I've found that it's best to find one or two barbers that cut my hair the way I like, and to wait for those guys to be available. The whole gang is cheerful and experienced. Great Old Fashioned Barbershop My husband and son have been getting their haircuts here for almost a year and rave about the great basic barbering here. My son gets a basic boys' crew cut and my husband, who has very thick straight hair, and is very picky about how it looks, gets it styled in a very straightforward style. Excellent prices.

Great Haircuts, Great Atmosphere When you walk into this downtown Palo Alto barbershop, you feel like you've stepped into a different era. '50s? 60s? 70's? Just pick a decade.

Great Hair Cuts My husband and two sons have used this classic barbershop for over 10 years. I like watching the Stanford football players getting their cuts! The barbers are a jovial group and always welcoming.

Great Haircuts, Great Atmosphere When you walk into this downtown Palo Alto barbershop, you feel like you've stepped into a different era. '50s? 60s? 70's? Just pick a decade. The staff has been there for generations. They're terrific with kids, who get to sit in a smaller seat in the big chair. Prices can be cheaper elsewhere, but a haircut with style here will last for at least a few months
