Great food and great service!!
My wife and opted to go to Preservation Station to try their $8.00 burger as we were told it was very good. The servers were cheerful and pleasant and also very accommodating as we are both gluten intolerant and my wife had brought our own gluten free bun which they served with her burger. Ordered a couple of sides and when the bill arrived it was almost $34.00. Asked why the menu mentioned to add fries for $3.00…but the bill added $5.99. This review is for the restaurant portion of the building only. Nice repurposed use of a historic building. Clean. Handsome decorations. Good service. We were there at approximately 10:30. They had both lunch and breakfast buffet options until about 1:00 PM. Buffet was the only option on the day we visited. Price was a little steep at $15/person. The price was the only part of the experience we didn't enjoy.
Had the Sassy Southern Bourbon Burger for OwensboroBurgerWeek2024. It was phenomenal. I dont like pimento cheese, but the homemade pimento cheese they had on this was pretty dang good. I would have made a few small tweets to the burger. Top three of the ones i have tried.
