Mr McCarter was fantastic. Finally someone who listened to my concerns and validated my pain. Wished I had been referred here in the 1st place
This guy is beyond rude and unprofessional. I can't understand why he is even in patient care with his attitude. I have never given a healthcare professional a bad review, but he will be my first. I wasn't recovering fast enough after a hip replacement and he came in my room and told me I was costing money staying there and I needed to move to home or rehab. No explanation or compassion, just basicly too bad so sad.
Saw Michael McCarter PA at Rust Medical Center. Went in with bad knee pain, xray was taken. He came in, went over xrays, never looked at or touched my knee, said we can give you an injection, if that doesn't work then pain could be coming from hip. Wouldn't you reguest other tests to rule things out before going straight to an injection? On an xray all you see is bone, shouldn't an MRI or other tests have been done. I declined injection, asked him if there was maybe therapy or topical creams I could try, he said sure referre... read more
He listened very carefully, reviewed x-rays, offered some options and pros and cons. I did not feel rushed to get through appt. I appreciate his patience and Amanda (RN) was very caring also.
Michael was amazing. Very thorough with explaining injury and images on x rays. His sense of humor put me at ease right away, and displayed sincere care for my injury. Answered all questions/concerns, so when I left I was completely happy with my visit.
