Charged me $239 for a routine urine drug screen (for a prescription med I was already taking). Self-pay amount would have been $98. They told me I would have had to sign a waiver to pay the lower rate, but they didn't offer me a waiver, so how could I? Bottom line - I was upcharged by $141 for a routine urine drug screen because I had insurance. I will *NEVER* have a lab done by Presbyterian again without researching the charges first. They cheated me. Don't let them do this to you.
