Had a colonoscopy on 2/5/21. Everyone was kind and professional. Dr. Mittal was great, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable at all times and well informed after the procedure as to my results.
Yesterday 1/27/2021 I had a colonoscopy at Presbyterian Gastroenterology in Rio Rancho. I faced it with some dread, since my former primary care doctor had attempted some years ago to perform a sigmoidoscopy without anesthesia, and what he described as "angry internal hemorrhoids" had caused me extreme pain. Been waiting for an appointment for 13 months now.
Nurse violated HIPAA and her reply was “oh I’m so sorry about that.” I reported it to the physician and called in to report the matter to a charge nurse which it has been 2 months and I have heard nothing back. I will go ahead and file a complaint on HHS.gov.
