I have had the worst experience waiting for bariatric surgery from this team. Everything was great until dealing with Taryn Goff-Mehojah for the psych eval portion. She stated everything looked great yet proceeded to put me on hold to speak to my primary, which took over a month. She then proceeded to make up more excuses that she had to talk to another provider I hadn't even seen in over 2 years. I've called and called I don't receive calls back and don't receive calls that are promised. I have been on hold for four months ... read more

Basically was told I was lying about my diet because I didnt lose weight after surgery and the weight I did loose before surgery was gained back. Actual doctor's note... "The patient estimates that she is getting 900 to 1200 cal/day but her basal metabolic rate on the body composition today was at 1400 cal. That does not really add up." Its not all about calories when your body is fighting against you.

I was told by my primary dr that I should be on a glp1, but my endocrinologist needed to prescribe however I was referred by Pres endocrinologist (because apparently that is not her job anymore) to see the bariatric dr instead. All the bariatric office wanted to do was surgery (giess there is more money in that) and I don't want surgery. The office staff rudely said well i wouldn't qualify anyway because I apparently am not sick enough for a surgery I didn't want in the first place.
