This is the worse insurance you could have. It's certainly the worse that I have ever had. Actually, I did have United Healthcare, which is demonstrably worse. They will leave you with a surprise bill for the most basic services and then run you in circles on the phone. I don't even understand what the point of paying for this insurance is. Avoid at all costs.

Deny deny deny. Spinal fusion isn’t something people opt to do for fun. Dealing with these “people” for over 4 months trying to prove that the pain level is high enough to justify surgery is ridiculous and incredibly stressful in an already stressful situation. As far as I can tell they saw we had already met our very high annual deductible and were trying to put us off until it reset in the new year so that we’d have to pay even more. I can’t think of another reason. This is why people go bankrupt.
