Dr. Preethi Srikanthan has been my endocrinologist—and my family’s—for many years, and she is truly outstanding. Though she was initially friendly and seemed interested in helping her patients, I quickly realized that she was incredibly careless. She made clear mistakes pretty much any time she reviewed any of my tests, then switched topics once she realized she had messed up, or proceeded to blame me for sending her the wrong thing (I sent the exact same results the second time around as all the values were in fact all included). If I had to choose one word to describe my expierence with Dr Srikanthan over the 3 years I was under her care, I would say “careless” best describes her practice. Her and her staff give as little attention & effort as possible. They will treat you as if you are a burden on their day. Ultimately, I had to find a new endocrinologist because I don’t want my life in the hands of a doctor that doesn’t care. Patients deserve better.
