What I love about Shelby Dental Care, are the people that work there. Everyone is so nice and they really seem to care about their patients. I would give it lower than 1 star if I could. Be careful when using them, they lead people to believe they are in your network when really they aren't. I called my provider, and found out that they weren't. They had everything all confusing for the insurance company to figure out. I'm glad I called, because if not, I would be spending over $400 for a root canal from them. If they try to fool people into believing they are in your network, can you trust them with your teeth?

I went in for a root canal. I called 2 days later due to pain and face swelling. The dentist did not see me he just called in pain meds and a antibiotic. The next day the monaca office was closed so I had to go to Robinson due to the swelling being triple in size the cut my gums and drained it. I was later seen by my family Dr. who sent me the hospital and I was put admitted for 3 days and put on antibiotic for an abscess. Dr. DiAndreth has done 4 root canals for me. He did a great job. Very quick and thorough. I have had a RTC with a general dentist and the experience was nothing like this. That procedure was somewhat painful and very long. And I ended up losing the tooth. I felt no pain with Dr. DiAndreth and he completed 2 RCT's at a time. I highly recommend him. Never again! Always a long wait, regardless of appointed time. Dr Patrick Carrigan has an awful temper which results in unprofessional behavior. I left his office in tears with a very sore/bruised gum. I wouldn't recommend this place, or this location at least, to anyone. Especially to those who have a fear of dentistry.
