Used wrong part causing catastrophic failure of engine. Not only refused to take responsibility for his error but was dismissive in the process. @Paul ~ maybe if you had rectified the situation in an honourable and industry standard way (professional indemnity) , it wouldn't have created the necessity to seek compensation through unnecessary formal channels, which incidentally took half a year of everyones time.
Beware. Extremely disappointed with the service from this mechanical shop. Non-communicative, unprofessional, and incompetent. Used wrong part causing catastrophic failure of engine. Since found out I'm not the only who has had issue with him ie. installing used parts at new prices.
