An office visit with him is like visiting a favorite family member. He is very kind and sympathetic; you feel at ease discussing your situation. He is very knowledgeable in his field of expertise, a wonderful surgeon. He makes sure you have everything you need. As a nurse I have worked with many physicians and he is one of the absolute best. He is perfect!
I was dealing with two issues hand and Shoulder Dr Sawardecke worked with me to schedule my surgeries to be close as he could, he knew I had been dealing with both for a long time wanted to help me, I couldn't of ask for more accommodating team. So caring ! I would recommend Dr Sawardecker to anyone with hand or shoulder issues! thank you to a awesome Doctor!!

2017 dr reattached my torn tendon on my elbow. To this day it is 100%. 2022 dr rebuilt my shoulder rotator cuff, stitching the supraspinatus back together, repairing the glenoid, AC joint repair, removed my long head biceps tendon from the bad glenoid and reattached it by a process called Tenodesis. I am still rehabbing but after 4 1/2 months of stretching, weights, elastic band workout therapy i am doing everything with no pain and getting stronger. Dr. Sawardeker and his team have taken wonderful care of me, through quite an accident. They repaired a broken wrist, broken ankle, and shoulder injuries, including a torn rotator cuff. I am jogging a mile and a half on the ankle; the wrist is close to fully operational (and will get there in time); and the shoulder/rotator cuff is responding well to aggressive OT. Dr. Sawardeker and his team did total replacement shoulder surgery on both my shoulders this year. I have been impressed with all my encounters with him. I would recommend Dr Sawardeker to anyone. He is a TERRIFIC Dr. I had an AWESOME experience with him as my surgeon. He came in to see before I went into surgery. He was so kind. He explained the surgery again and assured me that all would be okay. He came in to check on me after my procedure. He is SUPER and genuinely caring. I just loved him. Dr. Sawardeker operated on my shoulder repairing rotator cuff and fixing bicep tendon with re-attachment. From the initial consults, to the operation and post-operative visits, I’ve been most impressed with Dr. Sawardeker. He takes the time to explain everything in great detail. I found a high level of comfort in my interactions with him. Highly recommend!
