I was struck by a vehicle and ended up with a broken upper arm, both broken bones on one lower leg, multiple rib fractures, etc. Not only were the bones "broken," they were an absolute mess. In looking at the xrays I am extremely impressed with the skills Dr. Sawardeker must possess. All bones are healing well and the alignment of the bones are perfect! Amazing job! And, to top it off, I needed no pain meds post surgery. How that is possible, I do not know. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

I was very impressed with the whole process of my total shoulder replacement done by Dr. Sawardeker. My pain level was minimal, I did not need many pain meds. By 2nd day I was off all pain meds. I would strongly recommend Dr. Sawardeker, Dr. Kessel, and the Essentia Hospital in Fargo. I would like to thank everyone there for my care.

I had hand surgery w/Dr. Sawardeker & his team. Very positive experience w/dr., hosp. & staff. Very skilled professionals, kind, thorough, & caring. After falling off a roof and having multiple breakes in the elbow he was able to repair it and give me full function again. He is very personable and really cares how you are doing after surgery. If you ever need orthopedic surgery there is not a better doctor in my opinion!

Dr. Sawerdecker is a very intelligent doctor that truly cares about not only his patients but patients families as well. Dr. Sawerdecker’s confidence and attention to detail is the exact reason why my son, and my mother have gone to him for surgeries. He recently preformed my total shoulder arthroplasty. I am 42 years old. Dr. Sawerdecker researched extensively looking at every avenue possible. Leaving no page unturned. He is an EXCEPTIONAL SURGEON. I owe being pain free to Dr. Sawerdecker.

Dr. Sawardeker is knowledgeable, but he's demonstrated he only cares about patients when it's convenient for him. My son was rescheduled twice, & the 3rd time, 1 hour before the appointment, we were told not to bother coming in. They said Dr. Sawardeker wanted to do something with his wife, & that my son was fine. Wow. Really? How would you know? If I didn’t continue to have concerns about my son, I would've canceled the appointment myself & saved both the time and money. Sad and disappointing.

Dr. Sawardeker is one of the most caring, understanding, concerned doctor's, that I have came across. He is not in a hurry when he is with you, he listens to you , he explains everything very clear to you. Dr. Sawardeker bedside manors are the best! I would tell everyone, if they are looking for a Orthopedic surgeon, I would put Dr. Sawardeker on the top of the list. We trust him all the way. Thank you Dr. Sawardeker for the doctor you are, and helping us out with our needs.
